The History of The Esqueda Brothers' Circus Extravaganza The show you see today was originally started as "Circus Esqueda" in the 1880's with its tour being in Mexico and the west coast of the United States. The family has had 5 generations of work in the show and they have entertained millions of people over those fabulous 125 years. During that span they have toured every continent in the world. In Wembly, England in 1985, they won the Circus World Championship. The following year, they won the Gold Medal again in the Circus World Championship held in Las Vegas, Nevada. This started a long relationship with the Esqueda Circus and the city of Las Vegas. They remained as aconstantly playing show in Las Vegas for 20 years from the mid 1970's to the mid 1990's. After the long stand in Las Vegas, they went back on the road as they did for so many years and remain a touring show today. Today's show remains a family affair touring over 200 cities every year throughout the United States. Enjoy the show!
